A method for sorting semiconductor packages is provided to enhance a sorting speed and to improve the yield by replacing simultaneously a good semiconductor package and a bad semiconductor package. An unloading picker with a plurality of picker heads is transferred onto a buffer tray and all the picker heads except only one picker head pick up good semiconductor packages from the buffer tray(S200). The unloading picker is transferred onto an unloading tray and a bad semiconductor package is removed from a pocket of the unloading tray(S210). At this time, the good semiconductor package of the unloading picker is filled in the pocket.
