A handle assembly of a refrigerator is provided to improve the reliability of the product according to the stable assembly condition of the combining force of the screws and the molded structure of the fitting projection and the fitting groove. A handle assembly fixed at the front surface of a door of a refrigerator comprises a handle bar(12) held by a user; and a handle holder(14) screw-fixed at the front surface of the door to support the handle bar in the separated condition from the front surface of the door with a predetermined interval. The handle holder is formed with a fitting projection(14d) projected to the front side and a fitting groove(12a) where the fitting projection is fitted at the front surface of the handle bar. The handle bar and the handle holder are fixed through combining holes(14a,14b) formed at the side surface of the handle holder in the fitted condition of the fitting groove and the fitting groove.
