A board for a maker pen is provided to reduce the weight and to facilitate handling by making a writing plate of a synthetic resin foam board, and to easily fix the board to the wall by using an adhesive agent, a double-sided adhesive tape, or a Velcro. The board for a maker pen has a writing plate. The writing plate comprises a synthetic resin foam board(10) and a surface film layer formed on one or both surfaces of the foam board. A surface member(20) is adhered on one or both surfaces of the foam board and is composed of a paper layer(22), the surface film layer formed on one surface of the paper layer, and a plastic film layer(26) stuck on one surface of the paper layer.
