A premix fuel feed has a premix fuel feeder channel (7) for feeding a flame in a burner system's premix operation. A diffusion fuel feed has diffusion fuel feeder channels for feeding a flame in a burner system's diffusion operation. A pilot fuel feed has a pilot fuel feeder channel for supplying a pilot fuel to stabilize the flame. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a burner system for a gas turbine combustion chamber.
