Table lamp having planar light guide

A lamp comprises a plate-shaped light guide 10 having a light emitting plane 11 and a rear plane 12 disposed with a reflecting portion 14. The lamp has a plurality of point light sources 22 arranged across at least one edge of the light guide, preferably forming an L-shaped arrangement. The lamp also includes a shading supporting seat 30 for housing the light-guiding structure and the light sources. The lamp is provided as a table, floor or folding portable lamp. The lamp reduces shadow effects and is small in volume.
