<p>A method of re-encrypting a digital television signal, involves receiving an encrypted digital television signal at a gateway television set top box; decrypting the digital television signal, re-encrypting the digital television signal using a Digital Rights Management (DRM) system that is compatible with a first target appliance that is to receive the digital television signal; and sending the re-encrypted digital television signal to the first target appliance over a home network.
