The contact has a crimping body (3) with a closed section, set by deformation of the section from an initial convex form to a final crimpled form for setting in compression on strands (15) of a cable (11). The crimping body provides two close indentations (19) at its one section, where the indentations extend on an external periphery of the section and are guided towards interior of the body. - Independent claims are also included for the following: - (A) a process for setting an electrical contact - (B) a crimping tool for implementing a process of setting an electrical contact.
