A golf club comprises a head having a striking face curved about an axis which, in the striking position of the club, lies parallel with the ground, the club further comprising a shaft which extends at right angles to said axis and is secured centrally of the said head. The head is preferably basically cylindrical in shape, but provided with chamfers 2a, 2b, and 2c, and also with bases 2d and 2e for the optional insertion of weighting material, the bore 2d being partly screwthreaded to receive the shaft 1.</p> |
