A structure of preventing water leakage of an electric outlet used in a building, a kitchen and a bathroom is provided to prevent water from infiltrating between the body of the outlet and a waterproof cover, and prevent a plug from being separated from a plug insertion hole when an electric device is connected to the outlet. A buried type outlet for preventing water leakage includes a case and a waterproof cover. The case has a rectangular box shape. The front of the case is opened and a plug insertion hole is formed at the top of the inside of the case. The waterproof cover includes a top cover(121) and a bottom cover(123). The bottom cover is combined with the top cover by a hinge such that the bottom cover is rotated. The top cover is integrated with the top of the front of the case.
