A method for out-of-furnace treatment of steel in a «ladle-furnace» plant involves melt discharge out of furnace into the ladle, supplying into the ladle during a slag-forming mixture melt discharge and blowing of a melt with a neutral gas. A slag-forming mixture of the following structure is introduced into the melt: metallic aluminium A1met, silicon oxide SiO2, oxides of alkali-earth metals K2O+Na2O, calcium oxide CaO, alumina Al2O3 in a quantity of 5-11 kg / t of steel at humidity not more than 2 %.
