The invention relates to the devices for processing metals by pressure, namely, for execution of riveting operations during at assembly of articles in the aerospace industry and machine building. A high-speed machine for processing metals by pressure contains a bed with installed electromechanical drive and receivers with compressed gas mounted coaxially and oppositely, placed in each of them hold-sown, crankshaft, plunger with a head and connector of plunger with crankshaft. One of the shafts by free-wheeling clutch is connected with the drive and with the help of the mechanism of synchronization - with the second crankshaft. In accordance with the invention, the hold-down is tubular with a support, and the plunger is installed from withintubular hold-down and equipped with a collar, which contacts with the support of hold-down. Connector is executed in the form of a flexible element, moreover, the stroke of each plunger is less, than the sum of two radii of crankshaft. The invention provides for performance of the synchronous double-sided adjustable compression of the packet, which is riveted, increase of service life and reliability of device due to the liquidation of influence of impact loads on the stationary parts and units of machine.
