The cutting tool has a cutting insert (14) in a cassette (13) housed in a recess in a rotatable tool holder (10). A positioning wedge (18) mounted in a cassette recess is axially displaceable by means of an eccentric pivot. The pivot is guided in a radial bore in the cassette and has an eccentric cylindrical extension engaging in an oblong hole of the wedge.
