The invention relates to a device for measuring the tensile force (F<SUB>ZG</SUB>) acting upon two body parts (1, 2), especially vessels or nerves, when said body parts (1, 2) are combined and joined to a suture (3). In order to create such a measuring device which makes it possible to reliably measure the tensile force (F<SUB>ZG</SUB>) acting upon the body parts (1, 2) that are to be joined and thus increase the prospects of success, an apparatus (5) comprising a housing (8) and a measuring element (6) is provided for measuring a force (F<SUB>A</SUB>) in a direction of measurement (X). The measuring element (6) encompasses means (7) for applying the suture (3) while an element (9) for guiding the suture (3) is fastened to the housing (8) such that the tensile force which is expected to act upon the body parts (1, 2) can be determined reliably and quickly with the aid of the suture (3) before the first knot is made. |
