The bin (1) has a drum (2) with an upper flange (5) extending around the upper opening of the drum, and a lid (3) articulated on the drum between open and close position by a hinge (4). The lid has an upper wall (8) and a lateral wall (9) comprising a lower edge (10). The lid is integrated to a damping unit (12) extending throughout the edge (10). The unit (12) is made of rubber or elastomer by co-molding with the lid. The unit (12) is arranged to be applied, when the lid is in close position, on the flange (5), or respectively on the lid, by forming a linear contact zone.
