The table, particularly an office table, comprises an under frame (1-3) which supports a table top (4). The under frame is fitted on two opposed upstanding support feet (1). On the feet a horizontal frame (3) is applied. A bridge piece is screwed to each foot through the frame. In th is way, the frame is tensioned on both sides between the feet and the bridge pieces. In the table top is at least one hole (49) for feeding an electric cable. For current supply, underneath the table top a plug unit (7) is fixed to the frame. Input and output cables are held by a cable mat (6) tensioned over the frame. The individual feet have two legs (10) joined to another by a cross beam and in the lower leg end is a height-adjustable member (19).
