A composition (A) comprising murine embryonal stem cells (ESC) intended for therapeutic use in primates, is new. A composition (A) comprising murine embryonal stem cells (ESC) intended for therapeutic use in primates. The composition is obtained by in vitro maintaining of the undifferentiated cell of the mouse in a culture medium with a compound, in vitro culturing of the undifferentiated cells without the compound and purifying the cells by negative selection of an antibody/ligand specifically directed against a specific marker of the undifferentiated cells or by positive selection using an antibody/ligand specifically directed against a specific marker of a phenotype of the initiated cells. The cells are engaged in the differentiation way in neurons, hematopoietic cells, osteogenic cells, chondrocytes, spinal cord, oligodendrocytes or precursors of the cell line.
