A digital charge calculating apparatus is provided to extend the lifetime of the digital charge calculating apparatus by preventing a motor from being damaged when a coin is stuck in a hopper. A motor(5) rotates a classifying rotation plate(3) on a fixed plate(6) via a driven gear(52) and a driven shaft(53), which are coupled with a driving gear(51). A fixed body(1) and a movable body(4) are fixed on the edge of the fixed plate via a first fixing screw, so that a part of the classifying rotation plate is covered. A coin classifying detector(2) is protruded from one side of the fixed body. A flange(11) having a fixing hole(11') is formed on the lower portion of outer periphery of the fixed body outwardly. A part of a holding piece is exposed from the classifying rotation plate. A rib(41) having a through hole(41') is fixed on the outer periphery of the movable body by the first fixing screw. A part of the movable body is inserted into the inner periphery of the fixed body and held by the rib. A first coil spring is inserted between the first fixing screw and the rib.
