An opening and closing device for a sliding cover-board is provided to open and close simultaneously both cover-boards using one driving motor and to open entirely a white board so as to use the whole white board though the most width of an indoor wall surface is less than two times of width of the white board. The opening and closing device for a sliding cover-board comprises a left and a right cover-board(40,40') comprising divided boards(40a,40b,40c,40d) respectively divided into the plural number, a bottom part of the divided boards slidably installed on a lower rail installed parallel, and a top part of the divided boards connected to a wire rope(60) installed to be forwardly and reversely rotated in a caterpillar type by a driving motor(50) by brackets for traction(70,70'), thereby the left and right divided boards are opened and closed symmetrically and simultaneously.
