<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat recovery device for a cogeneration system and its manufacturing method, not lowering productivity in inspecting the leakage of piping or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This heat recovery device 1 is provided with a tank 40 and a piping portion 30, and the piping portion 30 is unitized to be a piping unit 20. The piping unit 20 is manufactured in advance, and the leakage of piping portion 30 is inspected before assembling the whole.
