PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an wrong input prevention method of button operation, an input device, and a mobile terminal with the wrong input prevention function which can make button operation invalid, in order to prevent misoperations, temporarily make button operation valid using simple operations, and to enable desired input. SOLUTION: In a setting state of a function which makes input by button operation of the mobile devices, such as mobile telephones, etc. invalid, a condition to make button operation valid is that it is done, during depression of a specified (or arbitrary) button ("side a" button). It becomes possible to originate to a partner telephone number registered as "1" button, by depressing an abbreviated dial, for example, "1" button and "start" button for origination, in order during depression of the specified button. It is possible to prevent wrong input of a button, without worsening convenience of button operation by discriminating whether the button input is valid, based on the number of buttons depressed at the same time.
