PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a database updating device capable of efficiently updating data by preventing a deadlock. SOLUTION: A duplication exclusion securement data record generating means M23 generates a duplication exclusion securement data record obtained by duplicating a plurality of acquired exclusion securement data records. A duplication exclusion securement data record updating means M25 stores exclusion securement information showing that the duplication exclusion securement data record is not updated and update processing information specifying update processing in association with the duplication exclusion securement data record when updating the duplication exclusion securement data record. In addition, update processing information corresponding to the current update processing is associated with the duplication exclusion securement data record to be associated with the update processing information corresponding to the current update processing and the whole data records located higher than the duplication exclusion securement data record.
