PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely inform a user of the attachment defect and the attachment completion of an interchangeable unit. SOLUTION: A lens unit 4 is freely attached to/detached from the body-side mount part 10 of a camera body 3. When the lens unit 4 is attached, bayonet pawls 9a to 9c are made to pass between the bayonet pawls 11a to 11c of the camera body-side mount part 10 so as to bring a lens-side mount part 8 into contact with the body-side mount part 10, then a click pin 53 is pressed inside the mount part 10, and starting the attachment of the lens unit 4 is detected. When the bayonet pawls 9a to 9c are meshed with the bayonet pawls 11a to 11c by rotating the lens unit 4 by a predetermined angle within a predetermined time after starting the attachment, an engaging pin 52 is engaged with the lens-side mount part 8, and the completion of the attachment is detected, to be informed to the user.
