ELECTROSTATIC ATOMIZATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomization apparatus, in which a conveyer/feeder for conveying a liquid from a liquid storage part can be fit to an atomization electrode having an atomization part by easy fitting work. SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomization apparatus is provided with: the liquid storage part 1 for housing the liquid to be atomized; the conveyer/feeder 2 for conveying the liquid L from the liquid storage part 1; a voltage impressing part 3 for impressing a voltage to the liquid L; the atomization electrode 4 being the atomization part 40 having an insertion/passage hole 41 which has a covered cylindrical shape and through the tip cover part of which the liquid L is made to pass from the rear surface side to the front surface side; and a counter electrode 5 opposed to the atomization part 40 of the atomization electrode 4. The conveyer/feeder 2 is fit in an opening 42 at the terminal end of the atomization electrode 4. The liquid L conveyed by the conveyer/feeder 2 from the liquid storage part 1 is made to pass through the insertion/passage hole 41 and reach the surface of the atomization part 40 and atomized electrostatically. The inside diameter D0of the opening 42 of the atomization electrode 4 is made larger than the outside diameter d of the conveyer/feeder 2 and the inside diameter D of the atomization electrode 4 is made smaller as it goes to the tip of the atomization part 40.
