PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid jet recording head having 100 and more nozzles in a compact structure, increase drive voltage of piezoelectric elements and shorten the rise time for the drive voltage waveform. SOLUTION: The liquid jet recording head is configured in which the upper electrodes on a head substrate and the output terminals of a drive circuit are connected face to face, using p-channel thin film transistors for analog switches in the drive circuit and in which the timing to drive the piezoelectric elements to start is delayed behind the timing for the analog switches to begin conducting.
