<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the covering of a fuel electrode caused by carbon deposition or drop in activity in a solid oxide fuel cell for generating electric power by reforming mixed gas containing organic material fuel and water vapor. <P>SOLUTION: The solid oxide fuel cell generates electric power by reforming mixed gas E containing hydrocarbon fuel and water vapor.
