<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultured microorganism having an antioxidation activity, inhibiting the production of melanin, preventing the deterioration in quality by the oxidation, or eliminating or inhibiting the generation of active oxygen and free radicals generated in the living bodies of humans or animals utilizing it by using it as a raw material of a cosmetic, beverage, food or feed or adding it to these products or raw materials, and also the cosmetic, beverage, food or feed by using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This cultured microorganism is obtained by culturing a new kind of microorganism belonging to Lactobacillacea separated from Kefir particles, or a group of microorganisms containing the microorganism in a medium consisting mainly of an extract of a green tea, black tea or mugwort.
