<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a light emitting display panel capable of operating in a low power consumption state when the lighting rate of light emitting elements arrayed on a display panel is high, and capable of increasing the contrast of a screen when the lighting rate is low. <P>SOLUTION: An active matrix type display panel 1 is so constituted that a large number of light emitting pixels formed by combining pixel circuits 41-44 and light emitting elements E1-E4 driven by the pixel circuits are arrayed in vertical and horizontal directions. Resistance elements Ra, Rk functioning as a luminance adjusting means are connected to at least either one of a common anode line 5 commonly connecting anode sides of each of the light emitting elements or a common cathode line 6 commonly connecting cathode sides of each of the light emitting elements. Thus, by providing the resistance elements Ra, Rk, the display panel 1 can operate in a low power consumption state when the lighting rate of light emitting elements is high and can increase the contrast of the screen when the lighting rate is low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
