<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable highly-reliable body posture measurement with a long-life. <P>SOLUTION: By using a static velocity sensor capable of detecting a static velocity due to electrical characteristic change, a body position of a measured person is measured from the vector of the static acceleration.
