<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel production enhancing method for target products in connection with a technology for the enhanced production of target proteins by inhibiting the expression of dominant selectable marker genes. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is an expression vector for expressing a protein of interest by recombinant deoxyribonucleic acid technology, wherein the vector comprises at least one dominant selectable marker and the translation initiation site of the marker comprises the following sequence: -3 +1 Pyxx ATG Pyxx, wherein "Py" is a pyrimidine nucleotide, "x" is a nucleotide, and the numerical designations relates to the codon "ATG". <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
