DIOXIN DECOMPOSITION TREATMENT APPARATUS IN COMBUSTION EXHAUST GAS BY CATALYST BAG FILTER AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dioxin decomposition treatment apparatus in a combustion exhaust gas by a catalyst bag filter which is capable of decreasing the exhaust gas temperature at the catalyst bag filter entrance to a temperature at which dioxins may not be recomposed by water in the catalyst bag filter and which does not cause a problem that the catalyst performance is deteriorated based on deliquescence phenomenon due to the water of a salt such as CaCl2and the like attached to fly ash in the exhaust gas and to provide a method thereof.

SOLUTION: The dioxin decomposition treatment apparatus in the combustion exhaust gas is provided with the catalyst bag filter equipped with a catalyst to decompose dioxins included in the combustion exhaust gas, a gas cooling tower to decrease the exhaust gas temperature by supplying water with dousing into the combustion exhaust gas passing through the tower, which resides at the upstream side of the catalyst bag filter of the exhaust gas passage and a catalyst protection material supplying means to protect the catalyst by supplying powder of the catalyst protection material into the combustion exhaust gas between the gas cooling tower and the catalyst gag filter and preventing the supplied water from contacting with the surface of the catalyst since the catalyst protection material has an absorbing property of the supplied water.
