<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with operation for writing requirement of timetable data, in a portable terminal device allowing portably carriage with the timetable data stored. <P>SOLUTION: A user of the portable terminal device accesses a host computer via a network, performs commuter ticket purchase operation (operation: P1), and transmits a commuter ticket purchase requirement signal to the host computer from the portable terminal device (a procedure: S1). The host computer transmits input format information for inputting use information of a commuter ticket to the portable terminal device (a procedure: S2). The portable terminal device transmits the use information of the commuter ticket to the host computer 1 (a procedure S3), and the host computer reads commuter ticket data and the timetable data concerned therewith on the basis of the received use information, and transmits them to the portable terminal device (a procedure: S4).
