<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer in which read/write for RFID is ensured by performing back feed up to an optimal position where an inlet incorporating RFID can be read or written, and to provide a control method of label printer. <P>SOLUTION: After a continuous label body 50 positioned at a stripping portion P is fed back by a predetermined length S in the direction B reverse to the carrying direction by a drive section, communication with an RFID inlet 55 is performed at an RFID read/write section T while performing back feed furthermore. Back feed is stopped at a moment when response to the RFID inlet 55 is obtained, and desired information for the RFID inlet 55 is written in at the RFID read/write section T. After writing is ended normally, the continuous label body 50 is carried in the carrying direction F by the drive section and the print position of a label L2 is positioned at a print part H where a desired content is printed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
