PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To build a multiphase converter system that can be easily adapted to cases where it is desired to change an output current capacity or a number of phases. SOLUTION: The output terminal section 10 of a two-phase converter device 1 and the input terminal section 8 of a two-phase converter device 2 are connected with each other through control signal lines 13. Thus, output voltage control signal Vset, output current control signal Ith, and phase control signal CLKout are supplied from the converter device 1 to the converter device 2. The output terminal section 11 of the converter device 2 and the input terminal section 9 of a two-phase converter device 3 are connected with each other through control signal lines 14. Thus, output voltage control signal Vset, output current control signal Ith, and phase control signal CLKout are supplied from the converter device 2 to the converter device 3. Signal selection of the operation selecting means of each converter device is automatically carried out according to a number of phases, that is, six phases by fitting each control signal line to the corresponding input terminal section.
