PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim harmony of glance nature, recognition, and operation nature in user interface display, and search a frame including a necessary scene, using a simple operation, when a user opens a moving video file, and searches a desired frame during reproducing and browsing the moving video. SOLUTION: The moving video is divided into a predetermined time interval, frames of each time interval are taken out as still image data, and a plurality of thumbnails are generated. One of the plurality of thumbnails is made as a main thumbnail of a large size which is displayed in a display window 2a, and other thumbnails are displayed in display windows 2 which are continuously arranged from an upper part, and a lower part to a slanting upward part, and a slanting downward part, time interval between the thumbnails is changed by the operation of a left and right direction indicating key, and a plurality of thumbnails jump by the operation of an upper and lower direction indication key.
