摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric device, permitting excellent temperature control in spite of the size or shape of local reaction region of a micro chemical chip. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric module 20 is constituted by connecting the end face of a thermoelectric element 23 to the lower electrode 22a of a lower substrate 21a and the upper electrode 22b of an upper substrate 21b respectively, while the thermoelectric module 20 is attached to the local reaction regions 15a, 15b, 15c of the micro chemical chip 11 respectively to constitute the thermoelectric device 10. Then, local temperature control heat sink units 12a, 12b, 12c are provided between a local reaction region 15a or the like and the thermoelectric module 20. The local temperature control heat sink unit 12a or the like is formed so that the upper surface thereof are formed along the local region 15a or the like, and the lower surface thereof is formed along the upper substrate 21b of the thermoelectric module 20.
