PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a local bus from being occupied over a long period of time by the data transfer of recording processing and reproducing processing at the time of executing the recording processing and reproducing processing of data in parallel. SOLUTION: In executing the compressing processing and reproducing processing of music data in parallel, compressed music data for which the compressing processing is executed are temporarily stored in a work RAM 16 for DSP successively, the reproducing processing is executed on the basis of the compressed music data stored in the work RAM 16 for the DSP, and when the compressing processing of the music data for one piece of music is completed, the compressed music data stored in the work RAM 16 for the DSP are transferred to a hard disk drive 13 and stored.
