PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knowledge equipped tool for aiding education, learning and business by using a portable telephone and to provide a means for efficiently learning, especially, foreign language conversation or the like by using a portable telephone. SOLUTION: A learning system utilizing a portable telephone is provided with a learning item contents database (11) for storing learning stories, a learning progress degree extracting/rewriting means (15) for rewriting a degree of learning progress, a scene extraction means (17) for extracting a learning item, a visual scene preparation means (21) for preparing learning item contents, a contents distribution means (23) for distributing the prepared learning item contents, and a learning receiving means (25) for recording a contract and the degree of learning progress.
