PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicating device capable of improving space efficiency in an instrument panel, avoiding a rise of manufacturing cost, and improving the visibility of a driver, in the indicating device for a vehicle with an automatic transmission. SOLUTION: When any one of a P range, R range, N range, and D range is selected, a light-emitting lamp 53 corresponding to range indication indicating a selected range of a range kind indicating portion 51 is turned on, and a gear stage kind indicating portion 52 is made to be in a non-lighting state. When selecting a manual transmission mode, if a gear stage is selected, the light-emitting lamp 53 corresponding to gear stage indication indicating a selected gear state of a gear stage kind indicating portion 52, and a range kind indicating portion 51 is made to be in a non-lighting state.
