PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler cap device capable of stably connecting the ground wire during opening a filler cap. SOLUTION: This filler cap device has the filler cap 12 having electrical conductivity to close an oil filling port 27 provided on a head end of a filler tube 14 connected to a fuel tank 15 and a tether 37 made of a member having electrical conductivity one end of which is connected to the filler cap 12 and the other end of which is connected to a car body, and the tether 37 is provided in a tether storage tube 40 made of a member having electrical conductivity provided on the car body 11 by making contact with it and being inserted into it.
