PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric rice-cooker which can save energy by carrying out a rice cooking with reduced power consumption in its standard rice-cooking mode. SOLUTION: This rice cooker carries out a rice cooking control in an energy saving rice-cooking course for its standard rice-cooking mode. In its selected rice-cooking modes, on the other hand, rice-cooking controls rather than the energy saving rice-cooking course are carried out.
