PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home dust collection system for readily removing dust collected by a mop, a broom, or the like to reduce time and labor required for cleaning. SOLUTION: The home dust collection system includes: a groove body (2) recessedly provided in a floor (51) so that an opening edge portion (10) is substantially flush with the floor (51); a cover body having suction holes (22) for sucking the dust (70) and covering the groove body (2) so that the upper surface of the cover body (3) is substantially flush with the opening edge portion (10); an air suction means communicably connected with the groove body (2), sucking the dust (70) from the suction holes (22) of the cover body (3) into the groove body (2), and sucking air including the dust (70) in the groove body (2); and a dust collecting means for catching the dust (70) separated from the air including the dust (70) sucked by the air suction means.
