PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the generation of a medical image, which favorably represents a vascular territory with data corresponding to a bone region accurately deleted from volume data acquired with a medical imaging device. SOLUTION: A bone region estimating section 5b estimates a 3-dimensional position of the bone region of a subject based on contrast volume data regarding the subject with a contrast agent injected into a his/her vascular territory. A bone region estimating section 5a estimates a three-dimensional position of the bone region of the subject based on non-contrast volume data regarding the subject with no contrast agent injected into his/her vascular territory. A bone region identifying section 5c identifies the three-dimensional position of the bone region by matching patterns of the estimated three-dimensional positions of the two bone regions. A bone region separating section 5d updates the contrast volume data to delete the bone region of the identified three-dimensional position.
