<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of irradiation sterilization, capable of sterilizing a blood purifying module while controlling the degeneration of a hollow fiber membrane material filled in the blood purifying module, and obtaining the blood purifying module with excellent stability in the long-time preservation and excellent expression of water-permeability when primed. <P>SOLUTION: The method of sterilization is for sterilizing the blood purifying module with irradiation by sealing the module with a wrapping bag which shuts off outside air and steam while all the outlets/intakes of blood and dialysis solution in the module are sealed. The module is filled with a polysulfone selective permeable hollow fiber membrane bundle including hydrophilic high polymers whose water content is 5-300 mass% relative to the weight of the hollow fiber membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
