<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium, which is excellent in the fixture of an ink coloring material, has an enough coating film strength and can provide a printed image excellent in color developing properties, resistance to plate wear and resistance to yellowing. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording medium having an ink accepting layer on a base material, the ink accepting layer includes fine inorganic particles, a binder and a metal alcoholate represented with the general formula: R<SP>1</SP><SB>m</SB>M(OR<SP>2</SP>)<SB>n</SB>, wherein M represents a metal atom, R<SP>1</SP>represents a 1-8C organic group, R<SP>2</SP>represents a 1-5C alkyl group, a 1-6C acyl group or a phenyl group, m and n represent respectively an integer ≥0 and m+n is the valency of M. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
