<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an outside air intrusion preventing device capable of draining only the drain water of an indoor machine outdoors while blocking the air conduction between indoor and outdoor sides through a drain hose, with a simple structure at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: This outside air intrusion preventing device comprises a lower case 2 connected with the outdoor drain hose S2 for extension at its one end, and having a female screw cylindrical portion 2A at the other end, and an air hole 2C on its side face, an upper case 3 connected with an indoor machine-side drain hose S1 at its one end, and having a male screw cylindrical portion 3A inserted into the female screw cylindrical portion 2A of the lower case 2 at the other end, and an attachment 4 capable of fixing one end opening side of a cylindrical bag-shaped throttle valve 5 made of a synthetic resin, and attaching and detaching the other end opening side of the throttle valve 5 to the inside of the male screw cylindrical portion 3A of the upper case 3 in a state of being faced to the inside of the lower case 2. The throttle valve 5 is formed by using a water-proof soft polyethylene, inserted into the attachment 4 and fixed by a rubber band 6 in a folded state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
