<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of failures due to waterdrops of dew condensation. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with a fixing apparatus (F) heat fixing a toner image on a transported sheet (S), an exhausting apparatus (4) exhausting air in the vicinity of the fixing apparatus (F) and a dehumidifying member (2) installed in an exhaust path (6) in the exhausting apparatus (4) and dehumidifying water vapor in exhausted gas. The image forming apparatus dehumidifies exhausted gas by the dehumidifying member (2) which is installed in the exhaust path (6).
