摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the start control of an occupant crash protection device such as an airbag by performing stable collision determination according to a collision speed base on an input of a simple impact. <P>SOLUTION: The detection part 3 for the initial stage of a collision detects the initial timing of the collision wherein an impact level detected by an acceleration sensor 1 in a cabin reaches a predetermined threshold, and sets one shot timer 4 when the initial timing of the collision is detected. On the other hand, an impact determination part 5 detects large impact generation timing wherein the impact level detected by the acceleration sensor 2 at the front side reaches a predetermined threshold. When the large impact generation timing is within a time set by the timer from the initial timing of the collision, an AND circuit 6 outputs a starting signal starting the airbag 10 to a driving part 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
