<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which is constituted so as to still more suppress the adsorption of an adsorbent component to an electrode in the biosensor to enhance the precision of a biosensor. <P>SOLUTION: In the biosensor equipped with an insulating substrate, the electrode system, which includes a working electrode and a counter electrode, formed on the insulating substrate and the reaction layer, which contains oxidation-reduction enzyme and an electron acceptor, formed on the upper layer of the electrode system or in the vicinity of the electrode system and constituted so as to measure the concentration of the substrate of the oxidation-reduction enzyme on the basis of the value of the current flowing through the electrode system, at least one kind of a water-soluble polymer selected from the group consisting of tannic acid, pectin, casein, carageenan, phaseleran, pullulan, collagen, chitin, chitosan, sodium chondroitin sulfate, lignin sulfonate and derivatives of them is further added to the reaction layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
