<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a fermentation culture supernatant, and further, to provide woody compost having a high lime content. <P>SOLUTION: Calcium hydroxide, and a flocculant preferably composed of Bryozoa as the main raw material are added to a culture supernatant of Candida utilis, so as to obtain slurry.
