<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly perform the addition and deletion of a second communication control means, in a line-housing apparatus which holds the second communication control means connected to a second communications system that uses a first communications system as a medium. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of optical interfaces 40 connected to the first communications system such as SONET and a plurality of stations 30 connected to the second communications system of RPR networks 70 that uses this SONET as a transmission medium are mounted in a shelf 10, and a station 30 and an optical interface 40 are connected via a path control portion 50. The station 30, an optical interface 40 and the path control portion 50 are generalized and controlled by an intelligent card 20, and the intelligent card 20 performs changes in the connection path in the path control portion 50, in the addition/deletion of the station 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
